Our client brought this vehicle into us for an Enhanced Paint Correction and Interior Detail.
On close inspection it was obvious to see that he had been looking after this car as it was clean, neat and tidy,
however being black it highlighted the scratches and flat areas of paintwork.
Our first job was to attend to the alloy wheels, we applied alloy wheel cleaner which was left to soak in for a while before before being agitated, which removed the heavier deposits. They were then pressure washed off. Next a general purpose cleaner was applied to the lower half of the bodywork and pressure washed off, this removed the road grime, at the same time we washed the wheel arches, door and boot shuts. Next the body was washed (2 bucket method) and washed down again. The bodywork, wheels and exterior windows were then clayed. After washing down again and dried the car was taken into our workshop.
First job was to mask up and take paint depth readings.
The scratched areas of the paintwork were wet flatted - We started with some Four Star (HCC) High Cut Compound to remove all the wet flatted areas,
It is a massive bonnet and roof on a Range Rover which took a lot of time and effort.
Next this was followed up with a medium pad and Four Star (MCC) Medium Cut Compound which brought back an even shine. Finally we applied Four Star (LCC) Light Cut Compound to bring out the fleck in the metallic black paint.
The masking tape was then removed and the car taken back to the wash area and washed off to remove any spent compound from from the crevises.
After drying off the car was returned to the workshop and a coat of Four Star Ultimate Pre-Wax Cleaner was applied to clean the paintwork in readiness for the final polish, which was Chemical Guy's EZ Creme Glaze with Acrylic Shine.
This was then buffed to a fantastic shine.
Next we got inside the car and gave it a good hoovering - we applied Four Star Leather Cleaner to the seats which removed the minor marking, then we applied Four Star Leather Protectant to feed the leather. After attending to the interior plastics, vents, centre console etc. we cleaned the windows inside and out, at this point we applied some chemical Guy's Wheel Guard to the alloys, this was allowed to dry before being buffed up to a good shine.
The car was then taken back outside for it's final inspection.
This job took a long time to complete but the end results speak for themselves.
