Our client had just bought this vehicle from a dealer but was dissapointed with the paint finish when he collected it.
It was totally flat and internally generally very grubby.
We started with a good wash down to remove caked on mud (wheel arches) and general road grime.
After this we applied a good quality Traffic Film Remover (Non Caustic) but we couldn't allow it to stand for long because of the cold temperature.
Whilst removing the chemical we also washed the door shuts - there was a lot of grime and some spilt paint on the rubbers. This took hours.
After the washing sequence was completed the vehicle was dried - Next we clayed, re-washed and dried again before taking it into our workshop.
(Nice and warm)
The first order of business was to mask up the exterior and measure the paint thickness.
Starting with a fairly sturdy pad and a medium compound we worked our way around the panels - this took approximately 8 hours, but the finish speaks for itself.
We then applied some EZ-CREME (Chemical Guys)
Turning our attention to the interior - the seats were hoovered and the floor covering was washed and dried. Then we sorted out the interior plastics.
(Its amazing how much you can find in air vents and around the dashboard) After brushing we applied some plastic dressing and buffed it dry.
All the masking was then removed and the van taken out side for a final wash.
After a last inspection we took some photo's - We hope you like the finish - Our client did.
