This car was brought into us for an Enhancement Paint Correction Detail.

To be fair the owner has been using it as his day to day transport during which it had picked up some imperfections in the paintwork.

We started with the wheels which required a coating of wheel acid to remove all the deposits on the surface, this was then washed off.

Next we pressure washed the exterior paintwork to remove the loose grime before washing (2 bucket method) we also applied a degreaser to the door and boot shuts, this was also pressure washed off.

Last Touch was applied to the exterior prior to us claying all the paintwork, wheels and windows.

The car was rewashed and dried before moving it into our studio where we measured the paint thickness on all panels prior to masking up.

On closer inspection it was possible to see all the scratch damage and some marks left by our feathered friends.
Various parts of the bodywork were wet flatted before we started machining.

We chose our favorite German Compound together with a medium pad. With this we were able to remove all the marks left by wet flatting and the rest of the minor scratches. We changed to a softer pad and a lighter compound to bring the shine back to the paintwork. On completion the paint came back to life.

After removing the masking tape the car was taken back to the wash bay and rinsed off, dried and returned to the workshop where we applied a coat of Sonus Paintwork Cleanser and finished off with a coat of Sonus Paint Sealant.

We applied Rim Wax to the wheels.

After a hoover to the interior we cleaned the windows inside and out.

On inspection outside the paintwork shone and sparkled, as did the wheels.

As you can see by the photo's the finished article looked great.
